Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your DOT-compliant box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Optimize delivery routes using provided telematics for maximum efficiency
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and digital log maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team to meet delivery windows and client expectations
- Handle freight documentation and proof of delivery procedures
- Uphold strict safety standards and compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Build client relationships through professional communication and on-time service
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial truck ownership (box truck required)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs for loading/unloading assistance
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement protocols
- Smartphone proficiency for digital logs and communication apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
