Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for freight delivery across Anaheim and greater Southern California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and expense documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate routine truck maintenance
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Communicate proactively with clients and dispatch regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight-truck driving experience
- Proof of current commercial truck insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (26ft-26ft) in operational condition
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for dispatch apps
