Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight within designated Texas routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document delivery receipts and handle minor paperwork discrepancies
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all state/federal requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
