Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain with our paid training)
- No prior trucking experience required - we train from scratch!
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and record-keeping skills
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
