Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with precision and care
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proven route planning and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong customer service orientation
- Reliable personal box truck (2015 or newer preferred)
- Commercial auto insurance coverage ($1M minimum)
