Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck (26ft-28ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and documentation (logbooks, bills of lading)
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while adhering to DOT regulations
- Build client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load planning and scheduling
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of diverse freight types
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proof of box truck ownership or lease-to-own eligibility
- Strong knowledge of Phoenix metro area and Arizona highways
- DOT medical certification and compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Basic accounting skills for independent contractor financial management
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work flexible hours
