Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently across Denver metropolitan area routes
- Manage freight loading/unloading with proper documentation and inspection
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and local ordinances
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and delivery scheduling
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Track mileage, expenses, and delivery documentation for accurate invoicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or similar commercial vehicle experience
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card if required
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) meeting all safety specifications
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic accounting skills for expense tracking and invoicing
