Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for timely regional deliveries within Kansas and surrounding states
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transit times
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to adjust schedules based on real-time logistics demands
- Secure cargo according to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage digital documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable box truck experience
- Current DOT medical certification and clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Proven track record in regional logistics or freight transportation
- Basic proficiency in GPS navigation and mobile communication technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
