Responsibilities
- Operate box truck (26' or larger) for timely local/regional deliveries
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate with dispatch and clients proactively
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Box truck ownership or lease arrangement
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Strong time management and communication skills
