Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely pickups/drop-offs
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety standards
- Manage customer service interactions during delivery process
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Handle basic paperwork including bills of lading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (26ft-32ft) in good condition
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
