Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently for regional and long-haul routes
- Manage route planning and delivery timelines using our remote dispatch portal
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation via mobile app
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Build relationships with clients and ensure exceptional service delivery
- Optimize loads to maximize revenue per mile
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (26-28ft)
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Midwest routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with remote support
