Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely and efficiently between warehouses and retail locations throughout Northern California
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and minor preventative maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Manage all aspects of load planning, scheduling, and documentation
- Adhere to all DOT safety protocols and company standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Own or have reliable access to a box truck (26-53ft) in good mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and delivery regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
