Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS
- Communicate delivery status via mobile app
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (3+ years experience)
- Box truck or straight truck ownership/access
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable data/internet
- Basic accounting skills for independent contracting
- Drug-free certification (pre-employment required)
