Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on dedicated regional routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with precision while maintaining inventory documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Address minor maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
