Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight deliveries in San Antonio metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and GPS tracking compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimized route planning and on-time deliveries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Manage client communications for delivery confirmations and issue resolution
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maximize route efficiency to achieve 95%+ on-time delivery rate
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of box truck or similar commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good mechanical condition
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio metro area and Texas highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication and tracking apps
- Entrepreneurial mindset with self-motivation skills
