Responsibilities
- Operate 24-26 ft box trucks for efficient local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Document mileage, deliveries, and any transit discrepancies
- Build client relationships through professional on-site interactions
- Utilize provided telematics for real-time tracking and route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Reliable smartphone with constant connectivity
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
