Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods across El Paso County and surrounding regions
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using provided GPS tools
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage inventory handling and secure cargo loading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Own or have access to a DOT-compliant box truck (26,000+ GVWR)
- Proven experience in local/regional freight delivery
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside repairs
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity
