Responsibilities
- Safely operate your box truck for local/regional deliveries in Kansas City metro
- Manage loading/unloading of freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proof of current box truck ownership/lease
- Minimum $1M liability insurance coverage
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
