Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within Virginia
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes for efficient on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good condition
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Drug-free and able to pass background check
