Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery manifests, and vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time pickups
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment usage
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Reliable box truck in good condition (24-26 ft preferred)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
