Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight throughout the Atlanta metro area and Southeast region
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and digital tracking systems
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery time windows
- Coordinate with dispatch team to address scheduling changes and special requests
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years of experience)
- Proven experience operating box trucks (26ft+) in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and operate loading equipment
- Must possess or obtain DOT medical certification
- Reliable personal smartphone with GPS capabilities
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Strong time management and customer service orientation
