Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently using your owned box truck (26-28ft)
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and GPS tracking
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Reliable 26-28ft box truck in good mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable data for dispatch communication
- Drug-free and willing to undergo random screenings
