Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a box truck (24-26ft) for local/regional freight deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and pre/post-trip inspections
- Optimize routes using provided dispatch software for timely deliveries
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Manage documentation (BOLs, logs, invoices) for seamless billing
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or issues
- Represent Coastal Logistics Group with professionalism in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (2015+ model, under 200k miles)
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable internet connectivity
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally for freight assistance
- Pass background check and drug screening
