Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal load assignments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Submit accurate documentation (BOLs, logs, invoices)
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (2005+ model, 24-26ft)
- DOT medical certification
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Smartphone with reliable data connection
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
