Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe, legal, and professional manner to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects immediately.
- Manage cargo loading, securing, and unloading to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
