Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and transport packages to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries with professionalism
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure proper loading/unloading of packages
- Adhere to Amazon's safety protocols and local traffic regulations
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery targets
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with warehouse operations when required, including sorting and scanning packages
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
