Responsibilities
- Safely operate Amazon delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers in Greensboro and surrounding areas
- Follow optimized delivery routes while maintaining strict adherence to delivery time windows
- Load/unload packages efficiently with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery logs using Amazon's handheld scanning technology
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and Amazon's delivery standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds regularly and maneuver in tight spaces
- Strong navigation skills with proficiency using GPS technology
- Reliable transportation to and from daily dispatch location
