Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any service disruptions or route issues
- Load/unload packages efficiently while ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including package verification and problem resolution
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and Amazon delivery standards
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize delivery routes and schedules
- Assist with inventory management and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Basic navigation proficiency using GPS systems
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
