About the Role: As a DSP Driver, you'll be the face of Amazon to Mesa residents, ensuring timely package deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service. This physically active position requires lifting packages up to 50 lbs and operating in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and business addresses in Mesa
- Load/unload packages using proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages via handheld device
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and Amazon's performance standards
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions
- Follow all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
