Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and business customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a clean driving record.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Sort and organize packages within the delivery vehicle to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
- Manage the delivery handheld device, updating tracking information accurately.
- Maintain a professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently for communication purposes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.
- Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate a handheld delivery device.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
