Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential/business addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages via handheld device
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize daily routes for timely delivery in Austin's dynamic terrain
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to Amazon safety policies and DOT regulations
- Communicate delivery exceptions and route challenges to dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ packages repeatedly throughout shift
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills in Austin metro area
- Reliable transportation to depot start location
- No CDL required - training provided
