Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
- Load, sort, and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses with accuracy
- Maintain delivery records and report any route issues or vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize Amazon's handheld devices for efficient package tracking and scanning
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure road readiness
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Portland metro area
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
