Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers within designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer interactions professionally
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at the fulfillment center
- Adhere to Amazon's safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Support team goals through collaborative communication with dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Richmond area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
