Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans or box trucks) following Amazon safety protocols
- Load, secure, and deliver packages to residential and business addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages via handheld device
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes dynamically using GPS navigation systems
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ packages repeatedly throughout shift
- Experience operating commercial vehicles (CDL preferred but not required)
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to cover additional routes during peak seasons
