Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicle: Drive commercial delivery vans and trucks in a safe, professional, and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Efficient Loading & Unloading: Load and unload packages efficiently using dollies and carts, ensuring order integrity and safety during transit.
- Customer Service: Deliver packages with a friendly attitude, handle customer inquiries professionally, and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate logs of delivery activities, manage paperwork, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
- Route Management: Utilize technology to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely completion of shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery logistics is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld scanning devices and mobile applications.
- Availability: Flexible availability to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
