Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes within Chicago and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (training provided if needed)
- No prior driving experience required - we train from the ground up!
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Clean driving record (non-serious violations acceptable)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
