Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop delivery routes across San Diego County
- Maintain impeccable driving records while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Execute precise loading/unloading procedures using pallet jacks and forklift equipment
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Optimize route efficiency using GPS navigation and real-time traffic monitoring
- Submit accurate daily delivery logs and electronic timekeeping records
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience in regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County geography and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Professional communication skills and customer service mindset
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
