Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport packages to customer doorsteps in a timely manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, adhering to weight limits and safety guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, handling packages with care, and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, scans, and inventory records for all packages.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon DSP safety policies at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred; a valid standard driver's license may be accepted depending on the vehicle type.
- Clean Record: A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and stack packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Age Requirement: At least 21 years old.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and English proficiency.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
