Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages using handheld devices
- Load/unload packages with proper weight distribution and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon's safety standards
- Communicate delivery status and issues to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with minimum 1 year experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of Newark area streets and navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
