Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to Amazon's safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading packages and maintain organized delivery vehicles
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A or B) or equivalent endorsement
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience with clean driving record
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Basic proficiency using mobile technology and delivery management apps
- Excellent customer service skills and professional communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
