Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customer doorsteps efficiently and accurately.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery van, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Interact with customers professionally, resolving any delivery issues or questions with a smile.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.
- Follow delivery routes and adhere to traffic laws to ensure timely service.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, appearance, and conduct while on the clock.
- Complete daily logs and report any vehicle maintenance needs or incidents immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License issued by the state of Texas.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate commercial vehicles.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and accessing route information.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
