Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive delivery vans to transport packages to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Customer Service: Deliver packages with a friendly smile and a professional attitude, ensuring every customer interaction is positive.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the delivery van clean and organized.
- Problem Solving: Handle delivery exceptions professionally, such as redeliveries or address corrections, with minimal supervision.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or valid non-commercial Class C driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Age: At least 21 years old.
- Experience: No prior logistics experience required; full training provided.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and walk to customer doorsteps in various weather conditions.
- Technology: Comfortable using handheld devices (tablets) for navigation and package scanning.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a commitment to safety.
