Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Follow delivery routes efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues promptly.
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance; report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Manage paperwork and digital logs accurately, including time logs and delivery confirmations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the Amazon DSP brand standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3-5 years).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices for navigation and delivery confirmation.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must reside within a reasonable distance of Jersey City, NJ.
