Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and delivery protocols.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring packages are delivered to the correct location with a friendly demeanor.
- Package Handling: Load, unload, and organize packages with care to prevent damage.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to meet performance metrics.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Documentation: Complete necessary delivery paperwork and digital logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C Driver’s License is required.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Age: At least 21 years old.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle (for some positions) or access to a company vehicle (for others).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technology: Comfortable using handheld devices for navigation and delivery confirmation.
