Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses within Houston's designated zones
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions, including resolving delivery inquiries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness to ensure operational readiness
- Utilize Amazon's delivery technology to scan packages, update delivery status, and document exceptions
- Collaborate with logistics team to adapt routes based on traffic conditions and delivery priorities
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Reliable personal vehicle (SUV, van, or pickup truck) with valid insurance coverage
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and navigate stairs/delivery locations
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using Amazon's delivery apps and navigation tools
- Self-motivated work ethic with minimal supervision requirements
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and peak holiday seasons
