Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Deliveries: Safely deliver packages to customers in the Lincoln, NE area, ensuring every item arrives in perfect condition.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is clean, safe, and operational.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Route Management: Utilize handheld devices to navigate efficient delivery routes and manage time effectively to meet daily targets.
- Record Keeping: Accurately complete delivery paperwork and log daily activity.
- Equipment Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery truck, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class A or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement is preferred; Class C with good driving record is acceptable for some roles.
- Clean Record: A satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read maps and use delivery software.
- Equipment: Access to a reliable vehicle if not driving a company truck.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
