Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers efficiently to ensure timely departures and accurate package handling.
- Verify package information and ensure safe handling throughout the delivery route.
- Deliver packages to customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and Amazon policies strictly.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for maintenance needs and cleanliness before and after shifts.
- Manage package tracking and delivery updates using handheld devices.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial use.
- Proficiency with technology, including smartphone usage for navigation and delivery apps.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
