Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from the delivery van using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Safely operate a delivery van in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Safely deliver packages to customers' doorsteps or designated delivery points in a timely manner.
- Interact with customers professionally, handle returns or exchanges, and obtain signatures as required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure the van is in good working order.
- Utilize handheld scanners and mobile devices to track inventory and manage delivery status.
- Organize the delivery van efficiently to ensure a smooth and productive shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic English language skills for communication with dispatch and customers.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or retail is a plus but not required.
