Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Efficiently manage delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to meet daily quotas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer interactions professionally
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to Amazon safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize loading and unloading processes
- Assist in resolving delivery exceptions and customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
