Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records using Amazon's handheld scanning technology
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and pickups
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and Amazon's safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Assist with sorting and organizing packages at the fulfillment center
- Participate in weekly safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
